In recent weeks, an AI agent called OpenClaw has gone viral. Unlike ChatGPT, which waits for a prompt, OpenClaw is autonomous. It can access your email, calendar, and credit cards to take actions it believes you want.
For litigators, this presents a nightmare scenario for authentication.

Arizona is changing the ethical rules for attorneys. Effective January 1, 2026, Arizona is adding a new comment to Rule 3.3. Attorneys will now have a duty of “reasonable inquiry” to determine if evidence has been manipulated. But how do you do that?

The average person cannot differentiate between real and AI-generated content. I teach a CLE, Truth or Tech, and I have the audience guess about which images and audio are real or AI. With well over 1,000 people having participated at this point, only about 20 have correctly identified the AI-generated content.
